Brett Dean Short Stories (UK première tour)

JS Bach Brandenburg Concerto No. 5

Britten Sinfonia features some of the UK's finest soloists and this concert showcases the talent from within the orchestra. Brett Dean's Short Stories is a response to Vivaldi's flute concerti: the Five Interludes can be interwoven between or with the originals. A pair of joyful Brandenburgs frame the programme.

‘This band can do anything and make it look effortless fun.’ The Independent
